Create an image where your subject is the strong point of the image, but only occupying a very small portion of the image space.
Where is said you can't have other objects!
My subject is the chess clock!
The chess board is too large!!!
The yukon Jack bottle is toooo Large!!!!!!!
The table is toooo large.
You guy can pick the pencil, ash tray or the chess clock!
I like to create a complex sentence, not like some of you guy just one word sentence. like Wow. |

You must vary your methodology. An increasing number of 10 votes indicates voter fatigue. |

Those bottles (or rather, the contents) ought to slow the game down a bit! |

Looks to be a bit cluttered for a minimalism challenge. |

This joke is becoming tiresome. I'm not voting on you brown ribbon attempts any longer. |

Very puzzling. I think it must be black's move because he appears to be in check - but if the Knight came from h5, as seems likely, would it not have been QxP mate ? |

A little hazy and poorly lit. Not especially interesting and it really doesn't fit the challenge. Sorry :( |

Either someone imitating whiterook or the real thing. Hard to say, we need a specialist. |

Blown-out! The light from the window is distracting. Unclear what the subject is here... If it is the chess board, it occupies too much of the frame... |

This seems very busy for a minimalist shot, and the harsh lighting from the window overpowers and washes out the scene. |

I'm not quite sure about the minimalism aspect, but regardless of that, the composition is poor and the lighting is quite bad. |

The photo's very busy - nothing calls itself out as the definite subject. The blow-out, haze, and lack of distinct focus over the image don't do anything for me. |

This looks like a tough shot to work out the exposure for due to the strong light through the door. It's lacking a bit of contrast at the forground and the door is blown out at the back. Try reducing the exposure and see if this helps? |
