 This is a shot from my backyard. It was a very cool orange and blue sky and in the winter the sunsets are very smooth. I grabbed this because the star in the sky was just so cool. It right away felt like a tribute to a wonderful player Darent Williams who will be missed. It is as if he is the bright light in the orange and blue sunset.

I like the smooth fade afterglow too when it is cold out. The simplicity makes this one happen. If there was more in the foreground as a silhouette of something, it would be a distraction from the beauty of the simple sky.
