| That's really creepy. Gives me a feeling of lonelyness and fear. I feel as if I want to know what happened to her and the line on her lip really makes me wonder why it is there. |

| I like it. You have a balance here between the recognizable and the chaotic. The big eyes and glossy lips are a sort of visual cliche, but that black mark on your lower lip is like the artist marking her territory. Then of course you have that rich texture, which looks like flowers and spiderweb. I like having the two textures competing with each other. I also like your expression, wide-eyed and slightly open mouth. It suggests an openness, even surprise... but more curious than vulnerable. I also like the quirky composition. You go down a little too low for a standard shoulder shot and you center the face by leaving a lot of blackness on top. putting a lot of darkness over the subject creates an ominous mood. Yup, lots to like about this picture. |

The eyes draw me in but the cleft in the lower lip is curious. Oddly, it does not appear disfiguring, but still it is a distraction. I wonder what the intent was.
The same with what appears to be webbing. Is this an attempt to create a porcelain doll effect? |
