| This looks like an ad for a leatherman...but beyond that, you started the ball rolling by making this still image full of action. Now, find a better background. Metal always looks good on even more weathered metal. But you have to be careful not to conflict colors and patterns. You might have kept this same setup, but taken the picture in b&w, merely because this background DOES have texture. B&W would have exploited that texture. |

| Nice, but I think I'd like a little more detail in the shadow to make it a bit more interesting. Of course, I may be missing your point entirely too. |

| I like this product shot, very sharp and clear. I like the use of the gold reflection to highlight the shape of the tools. |
