| What a glorious pic, I can almost smell the damp, earthy autumn leaves -grovel on the ground as much as you like TooCool the photos are so worth you being "strange". 10 |

This is a lovely image, it is warm, colourful and interesting. My only possible suggestion might be in rotating the shot for the main leaf to be 'upright', I find myself trying to turn my head to have a better look. Another suggestion along the same lines that IMO would make it much stronger would be to run the stem of the leaf from the bottom right corner creating a diagonal. Your image is certainly sharp, in focus and I think the similarity in color tones helps to create a smooth image.

| Beautiful richness of colour but not quite enough contrast in colour between top leaf and some beneath it. Would have liked to see more dark leaves (like the one at the left) beneath the top one to really allow the shape of it to be more defined. Water adds interest. Full frame works well. |

| You might think of you 7 as a job well done, a great mark. I look at it as a decrease in your potential. What I mean by this is that you are obviously unafraid to get up close to your subject, explore it's nuances, get specific, find a theme. I just think leaves with raindrops are overused. Good job with the pic. Try some unconventional subject matter in the future. |
