| Obviously there aren't enough crafty types at DPC - I know exactly what you were after with this. Good clarity, good composition. Might be just a tad lacking in contrast but not sure it could be increased on this particular shot without changing the lighting a bit. What I think hurt you scorewise more than anything was the audience's lack of familiarity with the subject matter. |

Good clarity on the colored yarn. Don't really understand the title or how this is a match, though, which probably hurt your score somewhat.
As a photo on its own, though, I like the lines and the diagonal of the colored yarn. It reminds me of a sampler from my wife's ancestor. With a brightly-colored frame to contrast with the muted tones, it'd probably look pretty nice. :) |
