This was actually an image I considered for "Battle of the Sexes" but didn't enter. I reworked it, cropping out my son to the right. You probably can't read the catalog title, but it says "Interior Decoration." I tried to get the glare off of the magazine, but the lighting was awful. I used direct light on me, and a bounce flash. Just thought the outcome was kinda funny for some reason.

Lovely!! Bah on the glare. :) Would a polarizer have prevented it? Someone mentioned that to me on one of my shots once. You look all purty in your fancy chair! :)

This is so cute... Nice living room too... the couch works, the dress works, the drapery works (I am assuming the champagne works too because you are reading that book from the back to the front) :P

Holy cow, perfectly composed. All the up-and-down straight lines in this are very effective!

very haute couture feeling to this, somehow. great use of your legs & i like the 'anonymous' aspect - even though WE know you're you LOL

the diagonal line created by the reflection adds to the 'highbrow' theme... I'm lovin it!

I love this! So 50s... And doesn't the catalogue read "Home Decorations"? teehee. Good one Judy!

Hey! I thought I was the only one that is "hiding" during these self-portraits! Good composition. I like the way the darker curtain balances the off-center positioning of the subject (you).
