 Focal lenght 27 mm.Polarizer filter(but without a great useful use for the sun position.....) flash for filling the shadows in backlighting. postwork: open in camera raw and send to photoshop, rotation and crop, new level and USM, new level and up the contrast(+7), new level up saturation (+8), new level colours correction,reduce and submit.

hmmmm...different. I love when people try different ideas, so thumbs up! It definitely meets the challenge, I'm just not sure I understand the theme. Technically, it looks good, except the light (from a flash, I assume) is a different color than the sunlight, which looks a bit awkward. You might want to use a colored gel on the flash to get it to match the color of the sun.

a very nice composition. like the colors of the sky and the calmness in the picture. on the lighter side i did notice that the Death is wearing a nice nail paint, a freindly death i guess- lol. Nice concept - 7

I love it! It's perfect for the challenge, with a chess match, I love the colors and the people playing the match are interesting.

DUDE!!!! I love that movie (Seventh Seal). Didn't that chess match take place on a beach, too? Awesome concept.
