| Very nice details in the feather and on the beak. I'm really glad that you didn't try to over-sharpen this image. Sharpness, contrast, exposure and white balance all look really good. Beautiful animal... Good luck with the challenge!!! |

I have never seen a flamingo close too - I did see some in a zoo when I was a child, but in an enclosure and so at some distance. From a European perspective it seems so bizarre to be able to come across a bird as exoctic as this.
This is a wonderful portrait, with incredible detail revealed in the plumage and in the beak, as well as wonderfully rich and vibrant colours. |

| Very nice detail. I've never seen those little spiny things (not teeth, I guess) they use to filter food out of the water. Bumping 'cuz your picture made me learn something :-) |

| I'd love to see this processed so we can separate the missing part of the bill from the BG ever so slightly. Otherwise superior, not your normal flamingo experience. |
