I wanted very badly to submit this for the "Match" challenge, but I couldn't once I realized that it was running under Basic Editing because I had used some burning to enhance the contrast of the photo and then applied a light "oil paint" filter to transform this into something more surreal. I think the effect of this composition is very persuasive, still, and so I elected to upload it to my portfolio anyway.
This image was shot at the San Antonio Zoo on the same photo trip as when I went to shoot the snake for the "Battle of the Sexes" challenge. It's one of the finer of the many I shot on the fly using very limited capabilities of my new Poloroid (which I ran to a Walgreens and bought so as to avoid being camera-less for the rest of my trip to the zoo when the battery pack went dead on my Canon).
