Hard to see the motion.

I wasn't sure what to think of this shot; I don't get motion from it, nothing is blurred, and I would have liked to have seen more work with the composition (why include the side-view mirror on the left; it's distracting and unnecessary). The sky is quite bright, and the colors seem a bit subdued.

Does not fit the challenge, sorry.
01/22/2007 11:27:31 AM
Good effort but in my opinion this doesn't meet the challenge because the background isn't blurred from panning the camera. Also the shot itself lacks a focal point... looking at the gap between the cars I feel the need to merge :o) Hope you find these comments helpful.

Sorry but it just doesn't work for me. The sky is overexposed, the foreground underexposed and there's no motion or anything to give it the WOW factor.
01/20/2007 05:51:15 PM
How is this motion panning? Blown sky, too dark in foreground, excessive noise
01/20/2007 04:51:57 PM
sorry, this doesn't really do it for the challenge. if you really want a clear understanding of what the challenge was about, take some time after the challenge to look through the top-20, and check out the comments they got.

I think the shutter speed was too fast to capture any motion. Therefore this is not an example of motion panning.
01/20/2007 03:14:35 PM
Sorry, this does not appear as motion Panning. Photo is way to dark. Back ground is too sharp.
01/20/2007 02:50:05 PM

A small picture possibly taken from a moving vehicle, so the camera was maybe in motion. No motion is capture or conveyed. Blown out, blurred, over-saturated, lacking in meaning. 2

I don't see any motion panning.
01/17/2007 08:30:55 AM

Not particularly effective MP and too small, dark and noisy IMO. Sorry.
01/16/2007 08:24:40 PM
Not really getting a feeling of panning in this shot. This is also too small.
