Perfect pencil. Right along the same lines as what I was thinking. I like the angle and the focus. Very nice. Not sure if you did the shiny reflection on purpose or not, but I mayb have tried to tone it down a bit. But that's just me. I know a lot of people like glare. I like the tan background with the brown-ish red lip pencil. Very nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

I think the double shadows underneath distract a bit, but I love the idea of why this pencil's point has been dulled. Lips are great! |

Love the OTT glare on the lippie! Seem to be two shadows for the pencil, is that deliberate? Like the composition very much. 6, Kavey |

i like the focus and composition, but the blownout highlight is rather severe. also, there appear to be two shadows in the image... perhaps a single light source that was more diffuse would have helped. ~mcmurma Aesthetics...4 Meets Challenge...6 Overall...5 |

I like the shallow depth of focus and the composition overall |

I like the lighting, and I like the focus. I think I'd prefer a different background color, as I don't think white does justice to the almost sexy mood the photograph creates. 6 |

Great arrangement and lighting. I like the narrow DoF. Not so sure about the background colour, though. |

The white on the right is a bitt too bright for me. I love the shade of the lip liner though. ;-) 5 |

This is a beautiful image. Don't understand the title and don't recognize the pencils but I presume they are really pencils. I love the shadow play in this image. The right pencil ends unfortunately dead center but it is mitigated by the placement of the shadows. Good job. Journey |
