This is pretty awesome... VERY cool. If it me, I might not have worn the wedding band for this (or cloned it out). More raw that way. :) Washed-out feel and background go very nicely.

I really like this especially the desat! Excellent!
One minor little thing, your teeth look a little green/blue, I would maybe hit em with the sponge tool to desat them a bit more.

Nope, No pain, I am just working a theme for the 30 day portraits, the theme is "Facial Expressions" :)
