What a great job of capturing light and smoke together, filtering through trees. Gives a feeling of depth, and a lot of movement in those lines. Might like to see it in a simple frame to help it pop.

I can see why you like this one. The side lighting is very original. The textures is makes in the trees and the range from white to black is very unique. I'd be almost tempted to make this a vertical panaromic format since I think some of the left side isn't helping the photo. This is the type of photo that gives me alot of ideas for my own shots. I like it!

Hmm, I didn't vote, but I think this is underated.

There is a subtlety about it that is very appealing

this is something I've always tried to capture but never actually could. smoke and rays. reminds me Jerry Uelsmann a lot, not "technically", he is more static, but that feeling of something emerging, some magic. I love your title.

Love the sunrays, Don! I also like the gradient from bright to dark.

I love how this pic is in black and white. You can see the trees well and the sunlight gives a nice touch.

I like the idea of having light pierce through this tree. Unfortunately, I can't see much of the details and the bottom third of the photo is a bit too dark.

This is lovely,
only wish it was not quite to busy, maybe a tighter crop?
