Hmmm – thought you got a bit of a pasting here for daring to do something a little different – the noise and deliberate blur work well for meâ€Â¦ however I think a more dynamic shooting position would improve the composition, this is a little too ‘in profile’ to really emphasise the idea of action, and a brighter colour in there somewhere, say a bright red top for the lady, too give it a little (metaphorical) punch!
Don’t be afraid to submit works that are a little ‘outside the box’ for DPC though – work on your style – originality is rarely fully appreciated in its infancy. |

Sorry, you need at least the basics to get a good score from me. I can't even suggest anything except, try again. |

I really don't care for the blur and noise. |

Great idea, but the image quality isn't working in my opinion. |

Unclear by blur and unclear as to what is the intended depiction. No saving graces. 2 |

Sorry, but this is a really terrible image. Blurred and noisy, I'm not sure that you really intended all of it, and I'm sure it could have been better with the same ideas. The misspelled word on the title doesn't help it for me either. |

Interesting idea, but I think the result is only semi-successful. It looks more like the photographer was jumping up and down than the two people were fighting. |

Fits challenge, however, lots of noise caused by flat lighting or underexposure. The motion blur leaves almost nothing in focus, leading to an image that appears happenstance.

Where to start? First, while I'm sure the blur is intentional, it does nothing for me. Whatever detail isn't removed by the motion blur is further obscured by the swath of chroma noise (all the blue stuff that is randomly distributed everywhere) that is this image's most dominant feature. Finally...demestic? You should look into installing the Firefox 2.0 web browser. Its built in spell checker will never leave you spelling dOmestic wrong again!
So, in summary, I'm giving you a 1. Feel free to PM me (even during voting, I don't really care) and I'll gladly give you some pointers to remedy these mistakes for next time! |
