A little grainy, but I like the glow. It might show infinite more if the hands were shown in motion.

i like the purple, but it's a bit too dark, and might have looked better if it was a little closer to the hands

Shame about the noise levels... did you try NeatImage?
I'm not sure about your choice of having the hand exactly at 12... it would have worked better for me in this challenge just before 12. 5
