Thanks for your helpful comments. I used a tripod, my hands are definitely not steady. Steve |

nice composition and lighting
good sense of humor
if the depth of field can be reduced and background can be blurred, it would make the subject more pronounced
did you use a stand for a 1/4 second exposure? must have steady hands otherwise. |

I like your subject, the lighting is fine, gives a nice roundness to the balls - it is a nice spoof of a old dutch master's still life - it would be even better with a plain wall in the bacground or a dark cloth draped behind, the background here is distracting. |

love the concept! good humore. nicely lit image and good clarity. adjusting the dof to blur out the back a little would have been a nice touch also. |

Good concept - background distracts my eye! Can't help notice the little character in the background. He looks like he really wants to escape from his glass prison. |

No no no. What in the world does this picture mean?! I can see you were going for irony and juxtaposition, but because your point-of-view is so general, there are too many things going on for us (the viewers) to focus on the intellectual virtues of this photograph. |

Pity you didn't shoot this with a plain background. There are too many distractions. |

The Bobblehead in the background really makes this shot. |

A unique and humorous still life. It is a good quality image. It would be perfect without the chair back on the left and a shallower DOF with baseball memorabilia in the background cabinet. |

Great subject. Like how the hotdog and old baseballs are sort of incongruent with the champagne. :) |

nicely photographed but the BG does nothing for me, too busy. The bobble head might have been arranged with the items on the table and a plain background perhaps? |

Great idea. The bowl holding the baseballs detracts from the shot as does the hutch and chair in the background. Perhaps a baseball mitt instead of the bowl? |

Brilliant idea! Unfortunately,.... A backdrop would solve many problems and I would choose black to highlight the items! 6 |

This would have been awesome if you took a little more care and watched the background. I don't need to see the china cabinet, the chair, and your wall's char rail back there. Still a good photo though--6. |

Great concept. I would like to see a reshoot with a less distracting background and more dynamic lighting. |
