I love the book The Little Prince. My other boys are gone and we're left with this one- our Little Prince standing in the field reminding me of the story - "What is essential is invisible to the eye," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.

"It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important."

"It is the time I have wasted for my rose--" said the little prince, so that he would be sure to remember.

"Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose..."

My Little Prince.

ok....so i'm thinking here.the pose is good, but there is something about the eyes there that really get your attention. the lighting on the face (natural i'm guessing) is really good. Super subtle, but good. He looks really calm and removed (the bokeh helps there i think) and it gives the whole shot a degree of calmness that is really nice i find. Yeah, i really like this shot. good work. nice score too. Keep up the good work.

This is a strong entry... levels, rule of thirds, balanced light, dof, all make for a wonderful composition and an excellent portrait... good luck

The pose looks sort of uptight but a very good b/w conversion.

This is incredibly flattering and well-executed. It feels as though it should be a "senior picture" to share with family and friends. This is definitely one of my fav's in the challenge, and it gets a 10 from me.

Great outdoor portrait. The composition is good, the setting is very nice, Good B&W conversion. And you kind of get a sense of who he is from this photo. 8

Good light and composition but lack of expressio. It can help to talk to the model while taking the picture

seems muddy to me. I know you have that white backdrop and there are some blacks in there, but the face needs to be lighter and you just have so much grey in the photo I would have liked a little more contrast. The portait itself is very good.
