| sorry, but in my opinion, you've ruined a perfectly beautiful photograph with your processing. i imagine this may be gushed over by some, but for me, this is what i would expect to see printed on velvet, being sold in a rural flea market...and i don't think it really needs to be that way. the composition and capture are excellent. oh well, to each their own. |

| This is awesome. At first glance, I wasn't crazy about the effect of what appears to be post processing, but, I think the awkwardness of color/lighting (for lack of a better word) on the horse's belly and the unevenness of the lighting really helps to emphasize the harshness of the weather. Good work. |

I initially thought the red hue of this photo is a bit much. After going back and reviewing the scores I gave out, this photo actually stood out more.
I went back to this shot quite a few times and the more I look at it the more I really like it. I liked the composition a lot. This is one of those photos that actually grows on you as you look at it. The red hue, which was my initial beef, was the feature that gives the photo character. |
