My daughter Ashley after 5 hours at gymnastics, Shot with in camera BW, cropped, curves adjustment, dodge and burn eyes, surface blur to focus on eyes, add a little contrast, cloned out shadow on wall, color balance(added some blue) curves again, resized and saved for web.

The eyes are sharp, but the rest of the face slightly soft focus, very well done.

This one is a tad blurry and desat looks a bit blue. Also the shadow falling from above shadows the eyes a bit.

Don't know what you did, but the eye's really pop. Unfortunatly, the shadow behind her and the over softening knocks it down a bit.

I don't like the blueness of the picture.
It would had been better if she was a little less centered, more on the ihgt would had been more comfortable to look at. It's also a bit soft for me.

editing is heavy and very evident. the eyes are overworked and there is something fishy about the background seperation.

I like it very much but there is a weird shadow on a wall (?) which somehow detracts maybe.

a little to soft focus for my tastes. Consider cropping off the space behind her, would bring more focus to her eyes

Her eyes are GLOWING and SHARP while everything else is OOF. Too much blur.
