This was one of my favorites from this challenge and I thought it would score even higher. Absolutely beautiful portrait. |

I think it's safe to say that this would have placed quite a bit higher without the tint. silly really, but that's just how it works. still love that expression no matter how many times i see it :) |

A very expressive portrait that was wayyyyyy underrated. Crop is a bit tight, but lighting, focus and DOF are darn near perfect. I gave it a 9.

Aww hunny this should have placed higher its a beautiful portrait and I love the processing (still trying to figure out how to get the focus so clear in different places.. eyes and mouth yet nose is soft) but the eyes and mouth are where I should be looking cuz they are magical.. Love it!

Wonderful expression and captivating eyes. You can almost see the little man in him coming out in this photo. Nicely done! Good luck in the challenge. |

Great subject & shot, the only problem for me are the way burnt out spots look blotchy;, if they were smother I would give it a 9; as is 7. |

Good control of the light. Good control of focus. Some of the nose shadows look a little unnatural, but doubt this would come up in printing. Wonderful photo and highly rated. |

Love the photo. Might be a little picky, but the small mole under his right eye is somewhat distracting. With this being an advanced editing challenge I think would have gotten rid of it. |

seems like it's been sharpened too much and too much contrast |

sigh. love it. beautiful DOF and sharpness in all the right places. and that smirk could melt the coldest of hearts. From a DP perspective may take a bit of abuse because of the subtle duotone, but this is what we've come to expect from this place on occasion :) |

Very nice window lit portrait. The small dof ads alot here imo.
Hope you dont get voted down because of the slight sepia tones. |

Cute. :) Awesome reflections, and the depth of field sets everything off wonderfully. Hope you don't get knocked too much by the rigid definition of b/w not being tinted in any way, shape or form. Those DNMC bums. 8 from me. |
