| It's nice composition, but a bit blurry and without striking enough contrast to persuade me. I love the effect of the lights in the background, but at this close a focal range, I think the distract a bit from the subject. I would personally take my dodge tool, set the exposure really high, and lose all but the dog itself in this shot. That sort of high contrast, coupled with some sharpening edits, would make this more striking and original to me. 4 from me. Good luck in the challenge! |

| the image is rather flat - was this converted directly to grey scale (likely the problem) or did you desaturate the channels individuall?) |
