From the critique club
Light; highlights blown out on the left, witch would be okay if the background was cleaner and more light on her face.
You could clean the background up with Photoshop since this was an advanced editing challenge.
The pose seems kind of awkward when you crop a part of her head of.
The eyes seem out of focus, it suits it better to have them in focus. And she has very pretty eyes.
Nice PP on the eyes and the colors are lovely.
The composition would be quite nice with the whole head in the picture.
If you have any questions about the critique feel free to contact me through the PM system.

This is a great subject - not one you normally think of regarding procrastination, but it happens so much! I love the way the girl works, but the right side really bothers me... I'm not sure cropping it would have helped, either, because her face is positioned perfectly where it is. |

I think you really should find a way! |

I think I'm missing the idea behind this image. I wish it were in a bit better focus. |

Get on with! The other person is probably more nervous than you.6 |

Pretty girl. Background is way too blown out. I don't see how this is procrastination? |

I suggest reshooting if you can. Try not to cut off the top of her head. That kind of crop works well when you're in tight, but here it just looks off. Also watch out for bright backgrounds. Finally, look for better focus. |

I wanted to leave you a comment on this photo...
This photo speaks to me.
One has to read the title, and the challenge discription, and think about it for a second... and then it hits you.
This is not top notch photography, technically speaking. I'm not going to go into the technical problems with this photo, because I'm sure other commenters will. But for me, the tehnical rawness of the capture adds to the feeling of shyness, of subversion required to get the photo, of dispair of the photographer for never being able to talk to this girl.
A 10 from me, though I doubt you'll get out of the bottom quarter of the challenge, because so many voters here don't look past the glitz and flash and moderate oversaturation. Keep taking photos that mean something. |

I don't care for the top of her head being cropped off. |

I'm not sure how her facial expression, the messege on her shirt and the title all fit together. Something feels off for me. I'm guessing that the blown out right side was done on purpose but its not really adding anything to the photo for me. |

The technicals are pretty off. The head is chopped off, the background is blown out, and the focus could be better. However... all of that actually adds up, for me, to a good image. I just really like it. It is not the everyday portrait and I am liking that uniqueness. |
