 A snapshot taken in march. This was Kristi\'s first \"hike,\" and we were at the Dupont State Forest just outside of Brevard, NC>

The soft focus is either gonna killa me or helpa me. :)

InPaint Shop Pro -- I created a second layer. Applied gaussian blur, then reduced the opacity to the level I liked. Then I used the eraser thingy to "undo" the eyes.

It was shot out in the woods in natural sunlight. She was taking her hat off, and I really like how the sun caught her eyes.

Lovely child very nicely photographed. I think, though, that this image could be improved by cropping down to eliminate the blown out, OOF hand in the top right. That way all of the interest would be sentenced on the child's face.

What a cute! Excellent job in your edits. A tighter crop on top to cut out the toy would be my only thoughts to make it even better. 7

Go easy on the Gaussian blur :) Beautiful eyes and beautiful lighting but the blur washes out the photo too much I think ... kind of makes the child's face look like a doll's face.
