 Lit with a single softbox on the right. Shooting slightly from above.
Limited post processing (crop, raw conversion, levels, limited burn/dodge/soften to hide some small skin defects & lighten the eyes, sharpen after resizing).

A photo I wanted to do for some time, inspired by a number of similar portraits I liked, including on DPC Larus' "Wanna Play", a photograph that is under rated IMHO or Hopper's "white".

That 85mm lens works very well in your hands and Benedicte is a lovely subject. You do some nice work with the 350XT.

Nicely executed - you achieved a sense of seduction without being gratuitous. Shallow dof works perfect here & the lighting is very appealing. Texture & grain detracts just a bit for me in this particular image. << 9 >>

I REALLY like this shot. The bokeh on the bodeh is super. The eyes POP! I know I can't have it all but would have liked a TAD more DOF to bring the mouth into focus. ... an 8 for me nevertheless.

I personally liked that you kept the focus only on eyes, but you know what voters at dpc would not understand that it is a deliberate thing. I feel your score would be punished for this.

Great point of view and you have great clarity on the eyes. There is a bit of burn out on the nose and I find the necklace a bit distracting.
