I like the abstract feel of this image. The circle shapes are well composed, and you've captured just enough texture to make the drums interesting.

i complete get what you're after--i've been there. i think it would have worked better if the closer cymbal had been absolutely razor sharp; as is, the blur leads me to think it's still ringing, as opposed to silent.

The high contrast is in conflict with the title - and that is interesting - the lighting is "high volume" while the cymbals rest silent, full of potential. Nice composition with the intersecting angles.
