 A little boy I met in August 2006. He was collecting cans by the side of the road and rummaging through garbage. He belongs to a family of gypsies in my neighborhood. His red hair and fair complexion caught my eye and the face reminded me of Neuman of the MAD magazine.
Normal PS work such as curves, levels & usm, cropped a little and resized

Technicals are solid - exposure, focus, DOF - all good. But lacks any wow factor.

I don't really like the blurred backround but the cropping is good and photo sharp.

As a personal thought (not a must), I would try a B&W version of this, i think it would make it more powerful. But the colors are not bad also here. I like it!

There's something about this that just has a contest winner "feel" to it! A Norman Rockwell look! Boyhood stopped in time -- captured forever! Fantastic job!
