I gave this a ten - the main reason I liked it was because of the realism of it. |

Thanks everyone for your comments - yes, this is a real notebook, real journal, real resolutions, both done and undone! |

I see you have somethings that you can put on 2007 list. |

Nice crop. I like the "authentic" look of the well worn journal. 6 |

I like the shot, but I think it would have looked better in B&W. Good job though. |

Whether this is an actual list or not, you at least made it look very realistic - old ragged notebook with rumpled pages and all. |

LOL! Break up w/Pa.... and then the date, 6 months from New Years. The idea raises my vote from 6 to 8 :) |

I like the perspective, but this composition is ill-focused. |

This is such a simple idea, and yet very effective. I am still deciding on whether or not I like the table surface in the shot. I may (an undecided "may") have swivelled the book to put it on a diagonal and then cropped in tighter so the the very edges of the book only popped into view in a few places. But as I say I'm still thinking about it. |

Okay, you met the challenge, but the shot feels too documentary, it's not particularly sharp, and it's not lit very well. |
