 My first submission with the 50mm 1.8D

Well this is me trying to be adventurous with lighting. I hope it's NOT toooo dark your screens 'cause that seems to be a big problem with me hehe.




THis is actually a photo of me, and I can't believe it is. I would never recognise myself here is someone else happen to take the pic with out me knowing about it. I was goofing around with the camera practising some different styles of lighting so that when my model would come, i wouldn\'t waste her time. She ended not coming because of a hang over, so decided to submit a practise shot. It\'s kinda cool i find. I look quite evil in it. I wanted the the focues to be on my eyes and nose and have the rest blurred out. I think it worked quite well. Now let;s see if it does well.


Processing:
THis is by far the most processing in photoshop i\'ve done to a submission. Lot\'s of burning, some dodging. Bit of contrast adjustment for the eyes....ummm, and that\'s it. Ok, so it doesn\'t sound like much processing, but it feels like it was.

Now, there's a shot that you'd not wanna see at home alone! *grin* Look at that expression! Almost seems as though he's gonna come out of the picture and get ya! *smile* Great effect!!!!
