 I've always loved fog photos, but we hardly ever see it here in San Antonio. I was on my way to work one morning and passed this little lake. Just in passing, I could see how pretty this normally "not very photogenic" little lake looked, so I came in late that day and went by to try to capture this rare condition :)

beautiful photograph sandy ... and fog/mist is one of my favourite things in nature to shoot ... we've been getting quite a lot lately so i'm stoked ... but by the time you can actually shoot it without a tripod you dont have very long to photograph it and then its burned off ...

a shame it didn't end up higher, this was one of two that I liked the most in the challenge. Congrats on a great shot!

I really, really like the softness to this Sandy. Fog has an amazing way of making something not very interesting and adding a totally different feel to it; same as your ability to capture something and add interest to it. You did very well my friend...

What a lovely, serene picture, and definitely unusual for San Antonio! Very well seen and worth going to work late that morning. I really like the watercolor effect of the reflections.

Beautiful! I agree with Skewsme about the top of the tree vs. its reflection. Isn't that an interesting effect?

Gorgeous scene. The line of the birds mimics the line of the ground beneath the trees. Lovely reflection. I like that it's almost black and white despite the hint of color. Lovely. 8
