| How cute ;) Would have been great for some other challenge But I guess its not scoring high in this one cause its not really a still life. Beautiful picture though :) |

| Not a still life, but it is certainly a silhouette. The noise makes it a lot more interesting than the standard flat black. |

| This is not still life to me, but a capture of a special moment in time. It is a beautiful photo and it shows such a loving relationship. I'm giving it a 10 even though I don't think it really relates to the challenge title. |

| Sorry about yesterdays comment, it was a bad day. However your girlfriend kissing your dog is still not a still life. Maybe a nice shadow image or people and pets image but not a still life |

| What a sweet dog. The shot is a nice idea but the darkness of the subjects seems off just a bit. Not quite enough light, you really have to struggle to see any sort of detail. Also the noise in the shot is distracting. The cropping could have come in just a bit more from the right to create a better balance to my eye though the flow down the dogs neck and back is nice. I do have to be honest, you've hit on a pet peeve of mine, I love dogs, I have three of them, but I can't stand to have them lick me ::shudder::, can't explain it. For the shot a 4 |

| Does not meet the challenge. A still life is a picture of an object or group of objects arranged to communicate ideas of color, form, tone, texture and composition. Still lifes are inanimate. |
