 Shows what happens if you don't change the oil! Actually, this beater is a loaner from my mechanic after I fried the clutch on my A4 as '06 came to a close.

My first real try at some post processing (with the Gimp ... still too cheap to buy photoshop). I'm sure you all will let me know how it turned out!

Post-challenge edit: Thanks for all the votes and comments. I adjusted the levels and curves, bumped up the saturation, and sharpened the image. All edits were global. I was trying to bring out the color and texture of the asphalt and the bright green of the hills. This was early in the morning, and sun was behind the hills ... if my processing skills were better, I would have done something with the blown out sky, too.

There's something strange about this photo that makes the car look odd to me and I can't put my finger on it. I'd like to see the details after the challenge.
