Love the colors of this one, and the image so suits the title..... |

The background is very pretty. The foreground is boring, IMO. 5 |

You certainly got the background bokeh to appear just like his painting style.
Well done! |

I love the background, but it seems that the flowers could have been placed a bit better within the frame. It almost feels like you were holding the camera with one hand and the flowers with the other. Maybe if there were more cropped off the left, or if the flowers were at a steeper angle to the corner of the shot, it would feel a bit more natural. |

Great background, you are right, it does look like Monet. Well done. |

The background here is fabulous; if the foreground flowers were more interesting this could be a 10. I gave it a 7 as is. Very nice. |

I like the background, the subject looks over sharpened though. |

The flower in the foreground is a bit harsh. One way to adjust that is to hold a white sheet of paper over the subject (and out of the camera view) which will soften the light. |

I think this idea is great with the background out of focus to create a nice wash of color. I can't quite pinpoint it, but something about the colors seems a bit off. I'm wondering if the in-camera white balance got tricked by shadows or shade from a passing cloud. I wonder if this shot might look great with selective desaturation. |

Love the background however I think a your foreground subject is letting this image down. What might work better is to not have so much of it in the frame and increase the DOF ever so slightly to create more definition in the background. |

I think this would have been better if you got in tighter to the flower with the DOF keeping the background in pastels like you have. |
