| This was my personal best avg. score on DPC to date, and only my second to break the 6.0 barrier. Shot about 3 miles from home at a nearby ranch. The dark "shadows" in the upper part of the foothills are evergreen trees in Pike National forest. |

| Because of the desat it's difficult to tell if this is snow or sand. I'm guessing snow, though. I like the way the fence shadow line echos the fence line, and the way my eye moves along both. |

| Really cool. Nice choice on the black and white. It would be better I think if the shadow of the fence was as dark as the top of the mountains to balance the photo out a bit. |
