 I learned about Birds Nest Fungus here.. //botit.botany.wisc.edu/toms_fungi/may2006.html. The 'eggs' are thrown out of the 'nest' by rain drops!

Bird's Nest Fungus, moss and lichen on a small twig. (The fungus is approximately the size of a pencil eraser.)
