 I have wanted to take a few shots of this old shack for a long time and while driving down the road to take a shot of the sunset, this caught my eye. It was just before the sun was completely down and the sunset was not as good as I hoped for. To get this shot I had to pull off the road at the bottom of two large hills and maneuver through the drive that luckily was plowed (we just had 30 inches of snow a few days prior). To get the inspiration to capture this at this the time of year was not to practical. I froze my hands off trying to get the right angle and had to tread through the deep snow. This was no joy.

I broke the 6 barrier!!!!! I have been on pins and needles for a few days. I have watched the score bounce all over and it went below 6 and back up. I am on cloud 9 and so thrilled with this.

Post: I am using a new Photoshop and realized the morning after this was uploaded (another last hour entry) that there was a green hue in some areas. I was not sure what created this. Eyewave noticed it as well...good eye. Just a couple of days ago I realized what caused this green hue to show up when I was editing another photo. So, it is always a learning experience. I need to work on my titles as well. This should have had the word Twilight in the title. Old Beauty just popped up and I had no time to think of anything better.

This is sure better than going to bed with my head hung low...started to become a frequent happening.

6 - Nice scene. Wish you could have included all the tree as well 'somehow'. Also taken advantage of the full 720, if the quality was there.

Nice scene. I like the overall tones. I'd have pulled back to show more of the view. As it is, I feel as if it's a bit chopped.
