 Taken near a huge bonfire on New Year's Eve in Reykjavík, Iceland. Many of the hundreds of people around the fire were shooting fireworks and carrying torches, glowing fiercely red or green. ("torch" seems to be the only English word for this object, but in Icelandic, this is obviously a "blys", not a "kyndill"). I'll post some photos of the bonfire itself, I had a tough time choosing which shot to post!

Post-processing in LightRoom: cropped and adjusted exposure to minimize contrast. In PhotoShop: NoiseNinja, curves, tiny bit of cloning, save for Web. No messing with colors, that red is exactly how the scene looked!
