Well I can understand the DNMC votes so I actually think you got a "fair" score for this challenge but this shot is very good, I like the bokeh effect and I definately see the pear, great job!

Nice bokeh effect. The strand of lights hanging down from the bottom of the tree is a bit distracting though.

Would have been better with a less yellow tone, I think. I do love the effect you have with the lights - very cool to look at.
