 It's a terracota wind chime. Chose it for the varying depth dimension right at the centre which matched the theme perfectly.

Love this composition. It really leads the eye through the image right into the center. I like the hard shadows here and the monochromatic scheme is very appealing. A very simple, yet complex image. Just wonderful.

I am really drawn to the abstract nature of the shot, the colors and the sense of depth to the spiral path caused by the object. I think the black background and border add to a good presentation as well.
