post voting:
i was tempted throughout the week to delf-dq this due to very low score. it was at 5.2 all the way. But i liked this particular look. It's gorgeous and powerful when viewed in a larger scale. I wanted it to be in my portfolio even if most voters find it unreal. (i know, that's why I entitled it "surreal"). thanks for voting. |

It was okay but didn't like the color choices and choppy cut out |

Solarized looks a little over the top for me. Nice leading lines of the rocks out to the tree/bush (which is nicely centered BTW). The processing REALLY kills it for me. Good luck. |

Assuming you broke no rules in your post process (and I vote assuming that) this is incredibly well done. I love the colors and light management. The whole picture is alive.
My first thought was ..if Moses had seen the burning bush at the beach, this is it. Cool.
Congratulations |

could have been a nice composition, but the effect is just too overpowering, especially around the edges of the tree. |

personally, I don't really care for the processing ... I like that you can still see details in the rocks ... and I like the composition |

The solarized effect kinda worked against you in this case. Sorry... |
