great concept, and a pretty good execution. Love the composition, and the right hand is magnetizing. A couple of things take away from the image: the background is too visibly painted in, and the line between the leg and the left hand is a bit oversharpened. Since it is right in the focal point of the composition, it jumps out on a viewer. But overall - great work, congrats! |

Greetings from the Critique Club Svetlana!
First of all congratulations on your highest scoring image to date :o)
I'd also like to add now that I am by no means an expert with editing, infact I would say I am just a beginner so this is going to be quite hard for me to critique this image!
Composition:
I really like the idea you have here and he overall composition you have created here with the two images is good. The only thing that is slightly out of place, imho, is (as one of your commenters has said) that the tyre is at an angle and the 'model' is in a more upright position which makes it slightly unrealistic.
Technicals:
As I have said above I can't really comment on your editing steps. All I feel I can do is point out a few things that I can see that 'bug' me. First of all the editing marks (?) around the top of the middle tyre are very distracting and secondly the hair from the model on the outside of the tyre looks completely unreal to me.
If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via the PM system.
- Natalya :o) |

Congratulations on a very fine image, Svetlana! I believe your high score is due to the simplicy of the photo in both visual and thematic contexts. I love your long titles, by the way, but here, it is clean, simple, and very engaging. |

I just love your work, Svetlana and can't wait to see what you do next. Great photo and processing! This image shows your creativity and talent. As in many of your images, it causes one to stop, think and wonder. I mean this in very good way! The beautiful women hiding in a tire...what's the story here?

This one was hidden? Whahaha, yea it's really shocking nude!...NOT!
It's a great shot and it should've ribboned. Well done! |

Dedicated model!
It does seem either over-sharpened or too much neat image or soemthing just not right. |

This photo is amazing! I never would have dreamed of anything this dramatic. I really hope you win a ribbon for this. This meets the challenge perfectly and the emotional impact is very profound. I can really feel how cold she is. |

The color treatment is good, but somehow I can't explain why a naked lady is in a used tire and that's a harsh enviroment... |

At first glance this is interesting, but after looking at it, really looking at it there are a few problems.
1) Skin tone is wrong with someone exposed to the elements.
2) tire is unaffected by body heat.
3) Tire is leaning at a angle, girl strait up and down.
4) what is going on with the foot.
5) Hair too clean, and at that angle impossible to be outside the tire.
6) the lighting on the sky and frost color don̢۪t match.
I foresee a ribbon if not already obtained in your future, you just need some work on details. |

Wow, that's different! Love the contrast between frosty and abandoned tyres and warm, living flesh. Not sure I love the processing - the edges look really strange - kind of like too much sharpening but not quite the same. |

Weird, dramatic and well processed. Beautiful use of symbolism to create a sense of "Harsh". |

The 'thumbnailed' version of your photo does not to justice to the larger version. I almost passed over viewing it. I hope the other voters take the time to click on it. I'm not voting in this challenge as I rarely vote in challenges I'm participating in. If I would be voting, I'd give you a 10 - which, I think there are dissapointingly, very few in this challenge. Great work and good luck! |

It is unbelievable what those girls will not do for the sake of attention. Naked in a tire!
I think you went a little overboard with the Photoshop work here. It is to obvious. |

Unique interpretation, excellent execution and moody tonality. Evocative. Slight haloing works with the image. Possibly a little green goo on top of the tire in the middle? |

Nice work! Admire the girl for getting in there in the frost. Well if not you did a good job on the post processing, don´t really care, I like this shot, not quite a 10 from me but as close as it get´s so 9. |
