| Those cool blue tones go really well with that frosted leaf. Overall, a very subtle statement, but a very nice photo. Nicely done! |

Very simple shot. Nice bokey. Looks a little too blue for some reason but I don't know what time of day it was shot or the background. Just 'looks' too blue...

| This is my favorite image of the challenge. So simple and yet so powerful. Great detail, perfect coloring, interesting lighting and no obvious and garish PS work. Great embodiment of the challenge, too. |

| Could do with some cropping to better balance the ideas. Currently very central subject and quite static, for something that is supposed to be awakening... |

| Nice shot, like the cold colours but if the leaf was higher or lower it would have been better, composition wise i think. |

| Well I like the DOF for starters and the blue hue to the shot. What I don´t like is the composition, way to centered for my taste with too much space to the left and the leaf is a bit too bright for my taste, very close to blowing out highlights and doesn´t hold enough detail/texture for my taste. 6 from me. |

| Your photo, as simple as it is, is better at showing 'harsh' then most of the photos here. I'm not voting, I rarely vote in challenges I've entered - if I were to score your photo, I'd give it a 10. Good luck to ya! |

| stunning colour...would have preferred the leaf off centre on the top third...wonderful bokeh and superb focus |

| This is glorious and beautifully done. The bokeh is superb. I love the centering of the leaf in the shot with the diagonal line of the stem to break it off fo the right. I'd hang this on a wall. |
