| this is a GREAT portrait. the environment captured his working place immediately tells us the story of this man. Although I think it did pretty well in the challenge, i'd like to say that, the score on DPC does not say everything about the value of a photograph besides being "pleasing" to the voters. |

| Now this is a wonderful and rich portrait. As Deb mentioned all the little details is what makes this so real and so honest. Had this been shot in a typical studio setting all would have been lost. The idea of him would have been the only thing captured. |

| Screw the score, this is a great portrait. Not only does it seem to capture the man and his environment perfectly, it's a very interesting and well done photograph on its own. I love the customer in the mirror and the cracked back of the chair. It's all so very real and very enjoyable! |

A great shot which tells a story, you've seemed to have captured Larry's character perfectly. Well done.

| I gave this an 8. Thought you captured the character well and was a good portrait of Larry the Barber 'at rest at work'. The lady in the mirror added an extra element to this. The toning/b&w works well, in my opinion. |
