Seanc, show us... how can you do take this picture without spot editing? |

I am wonering why you did not desaturate the total, or alternatively leave the color in the total. The red leaves now draw all the attention, whereas the soft waterflow is the most graceful aspect of the picture. A viewpoint lower to the ground, looking up to the small waterfall would have concentrated more on that graceful aspect, and would have eliminated some further clutter. |

A sharper picture would be really magic. |

If my focus is supposed to be the orange plants why have so much creek? Find the focus of the photos to be confused |

Nice picture. I would have liked it better totally in Black and White. |

Possibly a great B&W shot - or a nice color shot. Afraid I personally don't think the desat helps here. |

Nice long shutter speed making the milky water - not sure about the red flowers though they do distract a bit. |

I'm so sorry, but can I ask why you chose this technique for this image? My eyes are drawn to the bushes and I don't get to enjoy the way you have captured the water. Again, I apologize, it's a personal crusade. |

I love the way you only left the orange tones. Beautiful shot! |

Such a shame you didn't make your image larger. A border would have really helped IMO as well. I like the selective desaturation and the unusual composition. 6 |

Excellent interpretation of the theme, I like the blur of the water. I'm not entirely sure that keeping the color in the flowers was the way to go in this shot. I guess I'd have to see the full B&W version in order to judge the benefit of keeping some color in the shot. |

I love the splashes of colour and the silken feel of the water, nice job. |

i love the way the color leftover in this image draws my attention away from the subject of the shot ;) |
