 This was a last minute submission. Wish I had more time to work on it. I can see several things I would like to improve. I know the technique is not an original idea for this website but this challenge was screaming for me to try it out! A piece of glass was put about 10" above the fabric backround. drops of water were placed strategically on the glass. The "asteroid" is a water droplet that I dragged out with my finger to elongate it. Lighting was a single Alien Bee flash aimed at the fabric from the lower left corner. The backround is just an interesting fabric that I picked up at the JoAnn Fabrics. I was going for the "eye candy" effect! The final processing involved cropping, adjusting levels and contrast, slight saturation and a slight overall adjustment in hue towards the green side. I cloned out some sensor dust and areas of pixel burnout and the final image was sharpened.

Well some droplets again... Nice and colourfull. But... to me the focus is a bit of. And...it has been done. Sorry, to score with such an old concept it has to be stunning and needs an original twist.
