hehe, I agree I should have had the whole thing in focus, I shot it at f/4 because of inadequate lighting (a rush job!) and I had someone holding the setup at the right angle, so I couldn't use a longer exposure... well it was just an idea done at the last minute. I actually did another shot with just the spiral (and probably some better focussing), but chose this one as I thought it was more fun! |

The photograph is pretty well done, though I would have tried to get the whole rope in focus, but the subject matter doesn't do much for me. The background is distracting, and it all seems a bit much to me. The rope on a white or other solid background would have been much more to my liking! |

This is pretty fun. Although I may not agree with the dof. or at least where you placed it. Nice idea. though. |

I like both of those ideas seperately but together it's just a bit much. Great detailing on the rope. |
