Hello from the Critique club, my name is Jon Rowe, and i will be looking at your image this evening :)
Composition/Lighting : the lighting on this is quite well, but i believe that i would have tried a different angle to get rid of the finger's shadow. i really like the slight desaturation of this image. it works well. i believe i would have cloned out that strat thread on your sleeve there as well.
Challenge : this fits the challenge well. the woody subject is either a love hate relationship among the voters, so it sometimes is a chance to use, but it think it worked well for you here.
Conclusion : image overall is done well, just think about those few things i said and what others commented on as well. you did a great job. you should be proud of this image

| Your student looks to be a bit hard headed. Maybe a bit more crop on top? I like the lack of color. |

| This is a cute idea, however, the string on the sweater and the flatness of the colours doesn't hold it together for me. Yet I do like the concept. |
