Simple as it gets. Actually I wanted a totally different shot but I liked this. The upper background being darker will probably kill me but I thought it added nice contrast just wish it was black.

I used a 430EX flash with the Lightsphere attached to get the proper lighting. I wished I could have cloned out a few specs on the batteries but we are in Basic here.

"AA" was supposed to be the star!
but the shot was seem to be rooting for "AAA"

DNMC, DNMC, DNMC!!! That's a AAA! :D Just pulling your leg. Clever idea and I like the rotation on this. The diagonal lines created this way work very well. Nice even lighting. Clean, crisp, and well focused. You know what would have put this over the top? A black background in the upper left instead of grey. The border is a nice final touch to this. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

To many jagges(?) and a little oversharpened... Very good idea thogh. It would be nice if the batterys would face the other way.
