Fun with painting with light.

I really wracked my brain to figure out how to make editing visually interesting. This is a printout of a page I actually edited, although it's not the real editing I did. :)

I created the editing marks with my handheld laser, which is why they glow.

I continue to learn how to use Photoshop, and here I used a variety of layers to lighten up the paper without blowing out the text. I also used a gradient to even out the lighting; the original is a little brighter at the bottom.

I predict low 5, but hey, at least I tried to do something with this.

I thought this was actually quite fun. The lines are a little wavy, but that's not a big deal. Plus-the light is red, which is what an editor writes in. I like your crop and I think this should've scored higher.

I was surprised by the score on this. I thought it would end up considerably higher. You actually pulled off an effective graphic representation of editing, and you did so with strong lighting (no blown whites at all).

Question for you: how long was your exposure on this? I've never tried a long exposure and am curious to give it a go. Thanks!

Literal representation of art, may be?

I really don't care for the neon 'corrections' it looks digitaly added, and if it wasn't for me it still just doesn't give me anything to work with. It is way to overpowering, and a slightly mared piece of paper does not hold that much intrest for me.
