 This is an abandoned house in the Northern Virginia area.

1. Channel Mixer to desat
2. Levels adjustment to bring out contrast in sky
3. Levels adjustment for house and grass

Selective masking of hot/cold areas after levels adjustments.

Thanks for all the comments guys and gals. This is a little gem I found outside the Washington, DC area. The thought of creatively lighting it at night sounds interesting, but I'd be afraid to go back here at night. ;-) It wasn't posted, but I'm sure it's private property and in the DC area, anything suspicious really brings the cops out in force.

Nice composition, for me though it has a weird processed feel to it - there appear to be splodges of light all over the boarding, almost arbitrarily, and having nothing to do with the feel of light in the rest of the scene, with the result that the image feels more like an illustration than a photograph.
